Update: Exam Extension Period


An important message for both existing and new customers.

We have been contacted by some customers who are studying our 18th Edition online course and getting close to the time for booking their exam. The concern is around restrictions and closures of exam centres imposed due to the CORVID-19 national emergency, the Coronavirus.

Our Una-Volta City & Guilds exam centre here in Strood is currently closed. Our partner centres around the country too are closed. As the situation develops they may be affected in different ways and at different times.

In order to assist you during this uncertain period we have decided to extend the period during which formal exams can be taken.

Upon successful completion of the online course, once you achieve the 80% score required in the final assessment (Unit 9), contact us by email at: to book your exam. In the event that an exam centre is not available, due to the CORVID-19 national emergency, the period available to book an exam will be extended to 6 months from the end date of your course enrolment period (usually 12 months from date of purchase).

Once the crisis is over and centres are operating again, you can book the exam date.

In the period prior to your exam date, you can contact us and receive 48 hours access to the course to allow for some further revision and brushing up of exam technique on the exam simulator.

This extension is to help relieve the pressure and allow flexibility in this uncertain period. It will also apply to EVE, The EV Charging Course, due to be launched spring 2020. Our online support service will continue regardless of our office being closed as a result of the virus.
